Lap of Love is a veterinarian-founded and owned organization dedicated to providing an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice. We have built a community of over 400 veterinarians and support professionals who thrive in a culture of kindness. Our mission is to reconnect veterinarians with the heart of why they entered the profession by offering a career path that balances professional fulfillment with personal freedom.
As an In-Home Associate Veterinarian in Dallas, you will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families during one of life's most meaningful moments. This role honors your time and supports your well-being, allowing you to practice medicine that aligns with your values. You will work independently while remaining deeply connected to a supportive network, including seasoned mentors and dedicated practice managers who want to see you shine.
The day-to-day experience is designed to be un-rushed, typically featuring 3–4 appointments per day. This structure ensures you have ample time to connect with families and focus on the emotional significance of your work, rather than being weighed down by excessive paperwork. You will enjoy the freedom of a flexible schedule, typically working 2–5 days per week, allowing you to live a balanced life outside of your professional duties.
Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, which will be conducted post-hire and before the associated start date. Successful applicants will receive comprehensive onboarding and personalized mentorship to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Lap of Love is committed to a culture of kindness and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants regardless of their background.
