About the Role
As a Front-End Engineer, you will work hand-in-hand with our User Experience team to create eye-popping, user-friendly, and super intuitive online applications. This role is about more than just coding; it is about bringing ideas to life through hack-a-thons, partnering with universities on innovation events, and contributing to our famed Stamford Innovation Station. You will be defining the future of commerce, working with product, marketing, and project management as one agile team to build robust, scalable solutions that empower a Fortune 200 company.

Our Way of Working
We are proud to offer flexibility. At Synchrony, our way of working allows you the option to work from home near one of our Hubs or come into one of our offices. You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (either virtual or physical) for in-person engagement activities such as regular business or team meetings, training, and culture events.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Working knowledge of Generative AI concepts, tools, and best practices, including prompt engineering, LLM-based development workflows, and the design and orchestration of AI agents and sub-agents. Experience building responsive web applications using ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience working on an agile development team. Experience with building React component libraries and dependency management tools like NPM. Experience with continuous integration environments like Jenkins. Experience building and deploying applications. Experience with unit testing frameworks, UI test cases in a Test-driven development (TDD) environment. Working knowledge of implementing Accessibility (ADA) and Analytics requirements.
