Cathedral is seeking a dynamic French teacher to join our community for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. In this full-time position, you will manage a course load of five classes spanning grades 7 through 12. Your teaching portfolio will include Exploring Languages (Spanish/French) for grade 8, alongside French I, French II, French III, and Spanish I.
You will be expected to develop rigorous, standards-aligned lessons that center scholars as thinkers and problem solvers through authentic, meaningful tasks. Believing deeply in the ability of all scholars to learn, you will design instruction that encourages a growth mindset, productive struggle, and student ownership. Your classroom will be a safe, inclusive culture grounded in strong relationships and a shared commitment to learning.
Beyond the classroom, you will participate in and contribute to all professional meetings, duties, and obligations. You will also maintain regular communication with colleagues, scholars, and their families to foster a supportive educational environment.
