This position supports the Director of Fraud Prevention, ensuring the organization's goals and objectives are achieved. As a result of the bank's sophisticated risk rules, certain customer payments are outsorted and require further review and authentication prior to completion. The Fraud Analyst investigates these outsorted items, following required processes to complete the activity while meeting all payment and customer deadlines.
Balancing customer expectations with fraud loss prevention is a critical success factor of this role. You will provide feedback to the Fraud Protection Services team on changing trends and the effectiveness of the process, given the evolving attack vectors of fraudsters. This requires an end-to-end understanding of the payments process. You will work with your leader to enhance automation to improve the experience for both employees and customers. Success in this role demands strong analytical, critical thinking, change management, and interpersonal skills, alongside technical acumen and the ability to communicate across the organization.
This role is located on-site at the location listed in the job posting. The weekly schedule is Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET (11:00 AM to 8:00 PM CT), with occasional Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CT). Domestic travel may be required as needed.
