This is a day-in-the-life glimpse of a Forklift Operator at XPO. You will work on a non-climate-controlled dock, efficiently sorting, handling, loading, and unloading palletized and non-palletized freight. Your day involves using motorized and manual equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, to secure freight inside trailers. You will also utilize mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments while adhering to strict company safety policies.
The role requires physical stamina, including lifting objects up to 50 lbs (occasionally over 70 lbs), and the ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel for extended periods. As a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position, you will be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, to accommodate varying freight volumes.

Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry, forklift experience in a freight or less-than-truckload (LTL) environment, experience loading and unloading trailers, strong attention to detail and desire to succeed.
