About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our facility's material flow. Your primary mission is to safely and efficiently move materials, products, and equipment throughout the operations center. You will play a key role in loading and unloading trucks, transferring goods to designated areas, and assisting customers with their needs. Beyond operating the lift, you will sort metals, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and collaborate with production and shipping teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Physical Environment
This role requires working in a dynamic industrial setting. You will be expected to perform physical activities involving lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 pounds, as well as balancing, stooping, and walking. The position involves operating machinery in various weather conditions and terrains, and tolerating exposure to elements such as heat, cold, unique plant smells, and noise.

Requirements

Nice to Have
One to two years of related experience. Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment used in the metal recycling industry. Knowledge of different types of non-ferrous metals and their properties.
