About the Role
As a Field General Foreman, you will serve as a vital link between managers, clients, suppliers, and field staff. This position is designed for an individual who is participatory in a team environment and capable of driving day-to-day construction operations. You will work closely with the Project Manager to create and maintain project schedules, monitor critical path dates, and ensure milestones are met. Your role involves planning construction methods, sequencing work, and managing manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure projects stay on track. You will be responsible for resolving field construction problems, ensuring subcontractor compliance with safety programs, and mentoring Project Associates assigned to the project. Effective communication is key, as you will regularly convey site problems, conflicts, and quality issues to stakeholders while ensuring all work complies with drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCreate and maintain project schedules with the Project Manager to monitor critical path dates
- check_circleCommunicate site problems, conflicts, and quality issues effectively to the Project Manager and owner
- check_circleAssist the Safety Department in performing incident and accident investigations and follow-up
- check_circleEnsure subcontractors maintain schedules and quality standards to meet contract requirements
- check_circleMentor Project Associates assigned to the project
- check_circlePerform project close-out and ensure punch lists are completed in a timely manner
- check_circleResolve field construction problems and ensure subcontractor compliance with safety programs
- check_circlePlan and supervise construction activities including sequencing, manpower, and work schedules
- check_circleTrain and manage field staff and assigned foremen to oversee daily operations
- check_circleSupport the Project Manager in negotiating claims, changes, and change order reviews
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 3 years experience on construction projects in Healthcare
- verifiedAbility to read and interpret construction documents
