About the Role
This position serves as a Nutrition Services Assistant I within the Oakland Unified School District, operating under the direction of a Nutrition Services Field Supervisor. The role is a classified, non-exempt position with a work year of 202 days. Please note that this posting is specifically for internal candidates and is available for seven (7) days to facilitate promotional opportunities for existing staff, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between the District and AFSCME. The position is part-time, working 0.67 hours per day (0.67 FTE).
Hiring Process & Eligibility
As this posting is restricted to internal candidates, applicants must be current District employees. Selection requires a passing score of 60% on the designated basic skills test. Candidates must also meet employment eligibility requirements, which may include fingerprinting, Tuberculosis clearance, and other necessary employment clearances.
