We are seeking a Flight Software Engineer to join our team for a contract position lasting 12+ months. This role is critical for developing, integrating, and testing mission-critical flight software across a variety of applications. The work encompasses the entire development life cycle, from prototype creation to flight-ready software, as well as the development of dedicated test software.
In this position, you will engage in all stages of integration and testing, including unit testing, static and dynamic analysis, integration and interface testing, debugging, and defect resolution. The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in mission-critical software development for real-time systems and the implementation of flight software derived from models and algorithms generated in analytical tools such as MATLAB.
This is a full-time, 40-hour weekly position operating on a 9/80 schedule. Candidates must be US Citizens with an active Secret (or above) security clearance. The hourly rate is up to $100, determined by education and experience.
