Boyd Bros. drivers haul more than freight—they haul a reputation built on respect, safety, and reliability. Now under new management, Boyd is focused on what drivers want most: more home time, better planning, and expanded running lanes.
We're improving routes, opening up opportunities, and putting drivers first so you can run smarter, get home more, and keep your career moving forward. If you're ready for a company investing in its drivers, Boyd Bros. is the place to be.
As a CDL-A Flatbed Driver, you will operate late-model Kenworth tractors hauling freight that keeps you earning. Unlike other flatbed roles, our freight is designed for efficiency: 40% of loads are drop-and-hook, and 40% do not require tarping. This allows you to focus on the road rather than spending excessive time on the load.
The schedule is built around your life. We prioritize a rhythm that keeps you earning and living well, ensuring you are home every weekend. Whether you are an experienced veteran or new to flatbed, the role is designed to support your career growth while maintaining a reliable income.
No flatbed experience? No problem. New drivers start with one week of paid orientation in Birmingham, followed by a second week driving with a flatbed instructor. During this two-week onboarding period, you will earn $2,000 while building new skills.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis with no deadline. To confirm specific details regarding pay, bonuses, and job types, please talk with a recruiter.
At Boyd Bros., we believe in a culture of respect. We are committed to improving routes and expanding opportunities to ensure our drivers can thrive. By investing in our drivers and our equipment, we aim to create a sustainable environment where your career can move forward.
