About the Role
This position serves as a trainee dedicated to learning the mechanics of sprinkler system installation. You will work under the close guidance of a Sprinkler Fitter, assisting in site clean-up, unloading, staging, and distributing materials. Your day-to-day responsibilities include cutting and threading pipe, as well as installing and testing fire sprinkler systems.
As a Helper, you are expected to be a responsible and reliable individual who actively learns applicable fire protection codes. You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for yourself, co-workers, and customers. Continued employment is contingent upon successfully obtaining the applicable Oklahoma state licensing.
Hiring Process
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company requirements and have reliable transportation to and from job sites. The role requires the ability to work independently with moderate supervision, follow verbal instructions, and demonstrate a strong initiative to learn the trade.
