This position serves as a foundational trainee role designed to teach the mechanics of fire sprinkler system installation. Working under the close guidance of a Sprinkler Fitter, you will assist in site clean-up, material staging, and distribution while learning to cut, thread, and install pipe. This is an entry-level opportunity for a responsible and reliable individual eager to launch a career in fire protection.
Your day will involve collaborating directly with a Fitter to complete tasks on job sites in a timely and effective manner. You will gain hands-on experience by assisting with the installation and testing of fire sprinkler systems, maintaining company equipment, and ensuring your assigned vehicle remains clean and organized. The role requires the ability to work independently on moderate tasks while following verbal instructions, as well as the willingness to operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and ladders as needed.
Continued employment is contingent upon successfully obtaining applicable Oklahoma state licensing. As part of your growth, you will be expected to learn applicable fire protection codes and demonstrate a strong initiative to master the skills of the trade. A valid driver's license and a driving record meeting company requirements are essential, as is reliable transportation to and from job sites.
We value strong customer service orientation, positive attitudes, and strong organizational skills. We are looking for team members who can quickly learn, maintain a safe environment for themselves, co-workers, and customers, and uphold the company's standards for equipment and vehicle maintenance.
