The Finance, Accounting, and Cost department serves as the strategic backbone for our local profit centers, ensuring that every project adheres to rigorous standards while driving business growth.
This leadership position serves as the vital liaison between the finance function and Turner's local profit center projects. You will manage the Finance, Accounting, and Cost departments, acting as a trusted advisor to the executive team and general managers. Your role is pivotal in shaping the financial health of the organization by overseeing profit center financial reporting, risk management, and the development of new business opportunities.
In this capacity, you will not only ensure strict adherence to company policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) but also foster a culture of high performance. You will lead a team of finance professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development to cultivate the next generation of financial leaders. Your day-to-day involves collaborating with leadership to prepare annual profit plans, analyzing financial statements, and driving initiatives to enhance cash management and profitability. You will be an active participant in executive strategy meetings, offering candid assessments and influencing key business decisions.
Candidates selected for this role will engage in a comprehensive interview process designed to assess both technical expertise and cultural fit. This typically includes an initial screening to verify qualifications, followed by in-depth discussions with the Senior Financial Manager or VP, Regional Controller, and key stakeholders within the profit center. The process emphasizes the candidate's ability to navigate complex financial landscapes, lead teams, and collaborate effectively at the executive level.
