The Financial Consultant provides in-person and virtual counseling for participants, new entrants, prospects, beneficiaries, and their legal and financial representatives on the complete spectrum of TIAA products and services. This role covers institutions aligned to regional structures and offers financial planning advice via in-person, phone, and video chat to help clients accomplish their immediate and long-term financial goals.
During your initial period of employment, you will receive comprehensive training on TIAA's products. The role begins as non-exempt (hourly with overtime eligibility) and transitions to exempt (salaried) after the training period concludes, with the salary rate calculated to match your hourly rate multiplied by 40. All necessary licenses must be obtained within 120 days from your start date.
