Kellogg Community Credit Union invites you to join our team as a Financial Advisor. In this role, you will serve as a vital "needs-based" resource, helping customers navigate our investment services and securities-related products. You will act as a bridge between our financial institutions and our members, ensuring that every interaction aligns with our company philosophy and regulatory standards.
As a Financial Advisor, your day will involve managing customer relationships and handling all investment-related transactions with minimal supervision. You will facilitate the sales process by accepting and placing securities orders, while also establishing brokerage accounts and managing necessary documentation. Beyond transactional duties, you will coordinate marketing campaigns, seminars, and branch training initiatives to support our total marketing concept.
You will also handle complex operational tasks such as cashiering checks and stock certificates, processing journals between accounts, and setting up systematic investment and withdrawal plans. A key part of your success will be maintaining clear communication with the corporate office to resolve issues and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
This position offers flexibility, with the ability to be based in either Battle Creek or Kalamazoo, Michigan, while serving our entire footprint.
