This finance role provides a unique pathway for a Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Member or descendant to build the financial, strategic, and leadership capabilities necessary to grow toward an executive-level Finance position. As the Finance Specialist, you will work directly with the VP of Finance and senior leadership to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, capital planning, budgeting, compliance, and strategic financial decision-making across Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Hinckley.
You will contribute meaningful work from day one while receiving mentorship, structured development, and progressive responsibility designed to prepare you for a future Vice President of Finance or comparable senior leadership role. Success in this developmental role means growing steadily in financial knowledge, becoming a trusted contributor to financial planning and strategy, and demonstrating leadership behaviors aligned with Mille Lacs Band values.

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, data analysis, or related administrative/technical roles.
