The Department of Finance at California State University, Fullerton, is part of the College of Business and Economics (CBE), one of the largest and most accredited business colleges in the United States. With over 10,000 students, the CBE leads business education on the West Coast. The department offers a variety of specialized courses and degree programs, including the Bachelor of Arts in Finance, MBA concentrations, and Master of Science degrees in Financial Engineering and Risk Management.
We are seeking experienced, student-centered individuals to join our Part-Time Lecturer Pool. This pool serves as a resource for the department to draw upon as teaching needs arise, primarily for courses in Corporate Finance, Investment, Financial Institutions, International Finance, Real Estate, and Risk Management and Insurance.
Appointments from this pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. As a part-time lecturer, you will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses that foster a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment. The role requires the ability to interact effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Because the need for faculty fluctuates, particularly during the Fall and Spring semesters, successful candidates must be available on very short notice.
