The Field Construction Coordinator serves as a critical link between the field crews and the office, primarily operating on-site with construction crews covering jobs from Yuba City to Chico. This role is designed to support the General Foreman with essential project documentation, timecards, and pre-fielding activities, ensuring that projects are set up for timely starts and delivered with quality.
In this position, you will work closely with project management to interpret blueprints, order materials, and coordinate red-line changes. A strong commitment to safety is paramount; you will actively promote and enforce safe work practices in the field at all times. The role involves extensive travel, with show-up locations subject to change based on business demands.
This is a full-time, on-site role that typically consists of 10-hour days with start times as early as 6:30 a.m. The schedule is flexible and may require working weekends or overtime as needed to meet project deadlines. The position involves primarily working in a field/job site environment, occasionally in outdoor weather conditions, and may require lifting up to 40 pounds, prolonged standing, and various physical movements such as bending, stooping, and climbing.
