About the Role
As a FedEx Ground contractor, we offer you the opportunity to represent a recognized world leader in package handling. We are seeking highly motivated drivers to join our growing team in Lincolnton, NC. Ideal candidates are professional, customer-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
This full-time position involves delivering packages and managing area priorities effectively while maintaining a positive FedEx image. Drivers must be punctual, self-starting, and possess a competitive drive, maturity, reliability, and a sense of pride. The role typically follows a "4 + 1" schedule: four days per week with a flexible or on-call day. While we strive to be flexible, the schedule is ultimately determined by route coverage needs, and during Peak Season, drivers may work up to six days.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a highly competitive pay structure featuring a base daily rate plus incentive pay, with drivers often earning $160 to $200+ per day. Compensation is paid weekly, and paid training is provided. After 90 days of employment, employees gain access to an exceptional benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid life insurance, voluntary life insurance, and paid time off.
