About the Role
Our client, a General Contractor, is seeking a Superintendent with specialized Federal construction experience to lead projects from start to finish. This role encompasses the full scope of construction, ranging from foundation and structure through facade, MEP, and interior rough and finish work. The Superintendent will serve as an equal partner to the Project Manager, collaborating closely to ensure successful project delivery.
In this position, you will manage safety, quality, schedule, and budget while ensuring adherence to BCI operational standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities include identifying pre-mobilization activities, developing start-up schedules, and creating or reviewing subcontractor and vendor scopes of work. You will be responsible for establishing and implementing the project baseline schedule based on contracts and subcontractor input, ensuring all pertinent benchmarks are captured. Additionally, you will oversee subcontractor and site management, handle meeting and administrative duties, and guide the project through to closeout.
