Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Martinez, CA, operates as a vital safety-net hospital and community clinic system. As a teaching institution, we host an unopposed acute care-focused family medicine residency, dedicated to training the next generation of family practice doctors. We are seeking a California-licensed, Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician with significant Emergency Medicine experience (3,000+ hours) to join our team. This role offers the unique opportunity to provide high-quality care in a safety-net environment while actively participating in the mentorship of residents.
You will work within a collaborative environment where all physicians share night, weekend, and holiday coverage. Our emergency department features 27 beds (17 monitored and 10 non-monitored) and sees over 35,000 patients annually. The position offers flexibility in scheduling with a commitment to double coverage by physician-only providers.
Conveniently located in the East San Francisco Bay, our facility provides easy access to diverse recreational areas including Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, the Napa Valley, the Sierra Foothills, and all coastal regions.
