About the Role
As a Facilities Evaluation Field Supervisor for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Maintenance and Operations program, you will play a critical role in assessing the physical infrastructure of district sites. This position is designed to bridge the gap between technical construction knowledge and administrative oversight, ensuring that facility data is accurately captured to inform long-term maintenance and capital planning.
In this role, you will lead efforts to identify and collect data on building components across various District sites. You will utilize your expertise in building construction to determine the condition and remaining service life of systems often hidden behind walls, ceilings, and floors. Working collaboratively with trade surveyors, you will gather essential measurements and quantities while applying specific guidance from FCA Unit leadership to determine Remaining Service Life (RSL) values. As a supervisor, you will also serve as a resource to staff and survey participants, guiding their performance and ensuring data integrity.
