Countryside Veterinary Service LLC is a privately owned, growing practice dedicated to great medicine and high-quality care. With two modern facilities in beautiful Oregon—one in Myrtle Creek and another in Canyonville—we serve a diverse community of pet owners. Our team takes pride in treating all types of animals, from dogs and cats to exotics, wildlife, horses, and farm animals. We have built a strong local reputation by prioritizing stress-free visits for both our clients and their patients.
This is an opportunity to join a supportive team where schedules are flexible, including three-day weekends. The role involves a dynamic day-to-day experience, ranging from assisting in surgeries and monitoring patients to performing dental cleanings, radiographs, and in-house laboratory tests. You will play a key part in providing both inpatient and outpatient care while educating clients on their pets' health needs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about veterinary medicine and eager to grow with our practice.
To apply, please email your resume to pitty.weed.cvs@gmail.com with the subject line "Attn: Pitty Office Manager." Your application must include a personalized cover letter responding to the following prompt: "If your mother had a critically ill pet, describe the level and quality of service that you would hope she would receive at her local veterinary hospital. Be as specific as possible, describing the small details you would expect members of the service team to deliver."
We maintain a drug-free workplace and require pre-employment drug testing. All new staff members are required to be up to date on COVID vaccines. We offer a supportive environment where benefits such as medical insurance, personal pet discounts, and a retirement plan become available after the probationary period.
