At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. We are committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that is welcoming, respectful, and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) - Phantom Works organization in St. Louis, Missouri, is a hub for advanced engineering and next-generation platform development.
We are seeking an Experienced Low Observables (LO) Design and Integration Engineer to support the design, analysis, and propulsion subsystem integration of low-observable materials, treatments, and architectures. This role is critical to ensuring that advanced propulsion systems meet rigorous signature requirements for next-generation platforms.
In this position, you will partner with multidisciplinary teams—including structures, propulsion, materials, flight test, and systems engineering—to deliver integrated solutions that balance performance, manufacturing, and maintainability. You will utilize computational electromagnetic (CEM) solvers to model and analyze radar cross section (RCS) and scattering behavior, iterating designs to meet strict LO requirements. Your work will involve defining test plans and validation activities to verify LO performance and support the correlation between simulation and measurement.
Applications for this position will be accepted until June 26, 2026. Successful candidates must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Please note that this position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) and must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, meaning a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.
