Reporting directly to the Chief Trading Officer, the Execution Trader will play a pivotal role in the oversight and execution of foreign exchange and money market products. This position is designed for an individual who takes initiative, brings new ideas to the table, and is dedicated to refining their knowledge of diverse products and trade workflows.
You will work closely with internal teams to ensure best execution by monitoring market liquidity, pricing, spreads, and counterparty performance. The role involves providing updates on market liquidity and macro themes, performing daily transaction cost analysis (TCA) to identify improvement opportunities, and assisting in the creation of reports regarding best execution and execution analytics. A key part of the day-to-day involves communicating with electronic and voice sales and traders across a growing panel of FX liquidity providers, with a specific focus on building and growing relationships with US desks.
