About the Role

The Estimator II is a pivotal member of our team, responsible for gathering, calculating, and compiling data to produce accurate project estimates. For smaller projects, this role extends to preparing the full estimate from start to finish. You will work closely with trade partners to obtain bid estimates and time projections, facilitating vendor proposal comparisons and summary sheets. Your work ensures that all pricing options are thoroughly evaluated to determine the appropriate price for the project.

In this position, you will support the lead estimator by managing data input into estimating software, organizing Request for Proposal documents, and coordinating schedules. You will also play a key role in gathering historical cost data, managing addendum logs, and supporting the team in gathering necessary information from local government and private entities regarding permits and hearings. Beyond the technical aspects, you will have the opportunity to provide direction and training to new Estimators, Engineers, and interns, fostering a collaborative and growing team environment.
