Founded in 1965, EF (Education First) is a global association of education companies dedicated to opening the world through education. We are in the business of understanding, harnessing the power of language learning to deepen connections between people across the globe. For over 60 years, we have been the leader in international educational programs and culturally rich travel experiences, working across more than 50 countries.
Our mission is to challenge biases, overcome barriers, and pave the way for a more understanding world. We offer immersive short-term and long-term language courses and programs across different languages in the countries where they're spoken. Through blending classroom-based lessons with interactive exercises and real-world practice, our courses bring students to the heart of the language. Together, our global staff help students from around the world develop the language skills they need to achieve their dreams.
As an ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher, you will join a dynamic, truly international environment where you use EF's curriculum and blended learning approach to lead classes of international students of varying English levels. Working under the Academic Director alongside the Academic department, your role is to ignite students' passion for language learning by creating interactive, immersive, and meaningful classroom experiences that bring language to life.
You will be part of a greater campus team, encouraging students to get involved beyond classroom lessons through activities, events, and cultural exchanges. This is a role where you prioritize the well-being and safety of students, fostering a positive, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment where students feel safe, motivated, and empowered to participate. Whether students are staying for two weeks or a year, you will support their unique learning journeys.
At EF, we are driven by smart, driven people who push each other to be better every day. We believe the world is better when people try to understand one another. Our offices in some of the world's greatest cities are filled with individuals committed to building greater understanding and creating a better world. We offer exciting opportunities for domestic and international career advancement, allowing you to grow your career while making a difference.
