This position is dedicated to fostering a dynamic learning environment within the Dallas Independent School District. As an educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans that align with the district's curriculum program while accommodating diverse student learning styles. Your role involves presenting subject matter in accordance with guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency, the Board of Trustees, and administrative regulations.
Beyond instruction, you will establish efficient classroom management procedures and maintain high standards of pupil behavior. The role requires a commitment to identifying student needs and cooperating with professional staff to address health, attitude, and learning challenges. You will also serve as a liaison between the school and the community, sharing educational programs through activities such as open houses and PTA meetings.
The work environment typically features a moderate noise level. Travel throughout the district is an integral part of this position. Please note that this is a campus-based role; a remote working environment or alternate work arrangement is not an option. Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is essential to perform all duties effectively.
