This position serves as a dedicated educator within Dallas ISD, committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment where every student can thrive. As a teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans that align with the district's curriculum program and state guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency.
Your day-to-day impact involves creating inclusive learning experiences that accommodate various student learning styles. You will manage classroom procedures to maintain a positive atmosphere, facilitate student growth through continuous evaluation, and communicate progress effectively with parents. Beyond the classroom, you will collaborate with colleagues to address student needs, coordinate with aides and paraprofessionals, and engage with the community through events like open houses and PTA meetings. Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is essential, as this campus-based role requires full engagement with students and the school community.
Work Environment
The work environment typically features a moderate noise level characteristic of an active school setting. Travel throughout the district may be required as an integral part of the job. Please note that remote working arrangements or alternate work schedules are not available for this position, as regular on-site attendance is a fundamental requirement for all campus-based personnel.
Compensation
The minimum salary for this position is $67,500 for non-certified roles and $68,000 for certified roles.
