This position serves as a dedicated educator within Dallas ISD, committed to fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. The role is designed to support the district's mission by delivering high-quality instruction that meets the diverse needs of all students. As a key member of the campus team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans that align with the district's curriculum program and state guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency.
Your work will involve presenting subject matter according to established policies while creating accommodations for various student learning styles. You will establish efficient classroom management procedures and maintain standards of pupil behavior to ensure a productive learning atmosphere. A significant part of your day includes evaluating student progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's development.
You will also collaborate with other professional staff to assess and address student health, attitude, and learning challenges. The role requires active participation in community engagement through activities such as open houses and PTA meetings, as well as the coordination of aides and paraprofessionals. Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is essential, as this is a campus-based position that requires physical presence to perform all duties effectively.
The work environment typically features a moderate noise level. Travel throughout the district is an integral part of this position. Please note that remote working arrangements or alternate work schedules are not available for campus-based personnel, as regular attendance and on-site performance are essential job duties.
