About the Role
We are seeking an Engineering Technician to support the design, build, testing, and maintenance of test rigs and vehicle platforms. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in hands-on technical environments, bridging the gap between mechanical, electrical, and automotive systems.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our lab operations, performing critical tasks such as prototyping, wiring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime, ensure safety, and maintain the integrity of our hardware systems. From interpreting complex electrical schematics to managing lab inventory and supplier relationships, your work ensures that our vehicle platforms are ready for rigorous validation and testing.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verified2+ years of technical experience
- verifiedExperience assembling prototypes, wiring, and cable assemblies
- verifiedAbility to read electrical schematics and datasheets
- verifiedExperience working in a lab, shop, or build environment
- verifiedStrong soldering and hands-on technical skills
- verifiedFamiliarity with shop equipment and tools
- verifiedExperience with 3D printers and diagnostic tools preferred
- verifiedFamiliarity with Python, Linux, or ROS is a plus
- verifiedExperience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) is a plus
- verifiedExposure to AV systems (LiDAR, radar, cameras) is a plus
Nice to Have
