This position is designed for an Engineer with a Systems Engineering background and CONOPS development experience who thrives in a team environment. You will be part of a mission-focused group where your passion and ingenuity are used to defend national security with breakthrough technology and intelligence solutions.
In this role, you will develop and execute Mission-level Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) for the defense, intelligence, and civil aerospace sectors. You will leverage Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to perform system engineering, modeling, and simulation for a variety of missions. Your work will involve objectively defining and executing trade studies to provide data for customer decision-making, as well as developing metrics to evaluate mission utility.
You will serve as a key communicator, engaging with customers and stakeholders at all program levels to support business development, IRADs, and program execution for Space, Air, and Ground Segment efforts. This includes preparing and delivering presentations to peers, management, and customers, while maintaining effective working relationships across the department, Strategic Business Units, and the broader company.
This is an on-site position requiring regular in-person engagement five days a week at the primary work location. The role may involve travel and local commutes between company campuses or other non-company locations. Work is performed in diverse environments, including offices, laboratories, production floors, cleanrooms, and remote research settings. Depending on the specific project, you may occasionally work in production work centers requiring protective equipment or access facilities in various weather conditions.

Demonstrated experience in developing and analyzing mission concepts, including space, launch, and ground components. Demonstrated experience in all phases of hardware program execution, including early planning, design reviews, manufacture, assembly, integration, test, sell-off, and on-orbit mission operation.
