About the Role

We are seeking an Engineer II or III – Transmission Line to lead engineering assignments for high voltage transmission projects up to 500 kV. This position offers opportunities at both levels, allowing candidates to apply based on their experience and qualifications. You will be responsible for a broad scope of engineering tasks, ranging from developing design basis philosophies and line routing to selecting structures, foundations, and hardware.

In this role, you will work closely with design team members to coordinate overall design packages and perform data analysis for both large and small projects. You will also serve as a lead technical designer on select large design projects, review vendor drawings, and provide engineering support for proposals, estimating, and construction. A key part of your day involves verifying that construction aligns with electrical engineering design drawings and assisting field personnel in resolving unanticipated site conditions.

This position is based in Minneapolis, MN, Denver, CO, Fargo, ND, or San Antonio, TX. While the role is hybrid, it requires the ability to travel up to 10%.
