The Client Mission Systems Manufacturing Operations Test Engineering Team in Baltimore, MD, seeks a Principal RF Test and Power Engineer. This career opportunity is a great fit for self-motivated, proactive individuals who want to assume ownership of the performance and delivery of Northrop Grumman's diverse suite of RF, digital, and power hardware.
Our engineers work in a high-exposure, fast-paced, and exciting environment that involves "hands-on" technical challenges, problem-solving, and inter-department collaborations. If you thrive on solving problems and want different challenges each day, this role offers a dynamic setting where you will support the development, integration, and testing of production hardware. Your activities will range from hands-on testing and troubleshooting to analyzing failure trends, performing root cause analysis, and attending program meetings to report yields and corrective actions.
This position is based in Baltimore, Maryland, and requires on-site presence; teleworking is not available. The role operates on the 1st Shift and includes travel requirements of approximately 10% of the time. A current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level security clearance is mandatory for this position.

Experience with troubleshooting complicated circuitry at the system or component level. Experience with Lab Windows CVI, C / C++ programming. Test Stand programming. Proficiency with digital, analog, power, RF test equipment, RF theory and high-speed digital. Familiarity with differential digital interfaces like LVDS. PXI/PXIe and VME bus experience. Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical hardware.
