About the Role
We are looking for an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join our ES Defense Hardware Engineering Team. This role is designed for candidates eager to take on challenging work assignments within an inviting and supportive culture. You will partner with senior engineering staff to support the design, development, and selection of basic hardware components, utilizing fundamental mechanical engineering principles to meet specific design requirements.
In this position, you will enjoy flexible scheduling, including every other Friday off, while contributing to the fabrication and environmental testing of design hardware. Your day-to-day will involve performing basic static, dynamic, and heat transfer analyses, assisting in the design of prototype hardware, and documenting results for review. You will also generate technical content for drawings and engineering specifications, presenting design review packages to internal and external audiences. This is an opportunity to hone your skills on a global scale while defending national security.
