As an Energy Marshal on the Field Operations Team, you will serve as a critical guardian of safety and compliance on our project sites. This field-based position is designed for an energetic, self-motivated individual who thrives in a team environment and possesses a passion for collaboration and professional development.
In this role, you will ensure the integrity of our energy isolation programs and safe working conditions. Your day will involve coordinating with the Quality Control and Commissioning teams to manage routine audits, conduct Foreign Object and Debris (FOD) inspections, and oversee the removal of temporary protective grounding. You will lead pre-energization meetings, review single-line drawings, and approve all energization steps, ensuring that all inspection and testing documents are complete before equipment activation.
Beyond technical execution, you will act as a mentor to project staff, providing guidance to junior project managers and commissioning team members. You will also be responsible for creating and managing reports for management teams, keeping stakeholders updated on program progress and high-risk activities. This position requires travel to project sites scattered throughout the United States and, in some cases, outside of the U.S., offering the flexibility to live anywhere in the country while adhering to Gray's travel policy.
If you are a high achiever striving to exceed expectations in a fast-paced, innovative company, we invite you to apply. Please note that this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
