About the Role
The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our team in El Paso, Texas. In this role, you will serve as a vital support member of the healthcare team, assisting and performing invasive endoscopic procedures safely under the direct supervision of a physician or licensed nurse.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing rooms for procedures, providing general assistance, and delivering supportive tasks as directed. You will play a key part in ensuring high-quality patient care by addressing the psychosocial, physical, and communication needs of patients and their families. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will maintain regulatory requirements and adhere to nursing and ambulatory care policies, procedures, and standards. Effective communication with physicians and team members regarding changes in patient clinical conditions, diagnostic results, and symptomatology is essential to your success in this position.
