About the Role
CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Endocrinologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa in San Antonio, Texas. With an estimated 220,000 diabetics in the community and a documented shortage of specialists, the demand for high-quality endocrine care is critical. This role is designed to fill a vital gap in our community, providing comprehensive care to patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, and other endocrine conditions.
You will play a crucial role in optimizing patient outcomes by collaborating with primary care physicians and other specialists. Your day will involve managing a diverse caseload in both outpatient and inpatient settings, conducting thorough evaluations, and developing tailored treatment plans. Beyond clinical duties, you will educate patients and families on disease management and lifestyle modifications, while participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to improving access to specialized care in an underserved community while working within a supportive environment that values ongoing professional development.
