As an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Clinician at Texas Health, you will bring your passion to THR to help us be Better + Together. This part-time role is designed to provide extensive on-site and virtual consulting and clinical work for individuals, couples, and minors. You will serve as a vital member of the healthcare team, delivering intake assessments, crisis intervention, short-term solution-focused counseling, resource referrals, and case management.
Beyond direct clinical care, you will provide management and organizational consultations to stakeholders. This includes responding to workplace trauma, crisis, and loss by utilizing Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) interventions. You will also develop and present professional development courses and training for employees in various group settings, while participating in workshops, wellness fairs, and outreach events to ensure strong EAP visibility and utilization.
You will be joining a supportive, team environment with outstanding opportunities for growth. Our department highlights a collaborative team approach and a strong Unit Based Council (UBC). The role offers a flexible schedule with opportunities based on business need, allowing you to balance your professional duties with the dynamic nature of healthcare.
While the position is primarily scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, it includes some after-hours response requirements on an as-needed basis to support clinical emergencies and organizational emergency responses, consistent with professional standards of care.
