About the Role
We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team for a 12+ month contract, focusing on the development of embedded real-time avionics systems. This role is critical for building high-performance, resilient, and fault-tolerant software solutions for resource-constrained targets across diverse domains, including undersea, terrestrial, air, hypersonic, and space systems.
As a key contributor, you will engage in the full software development life cycle, guiding projects from the initial design and requirements phase through to testing and field deployment. You will work on next-generation systems that demand rigorous engineering standards and innovative problem-solving in complex environments.
Location and Schedule
This position is based at our Cambridge office, with travel to the Lowell office required upon request. The role operates on a 40-hour weekly schedule utilizing a 9/80 work schedule. Candidates must be available to work onsite.
Hiring Process and Requirements
Security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position; candidates must hold a Secret clearance or above. The hourly rate is competitive, reaching up to $100 per hour, determined by education and experience.
