KIPP Miami Public Schools operates as a network of college-preparatory public charter schools based in Miami, Florida, serving the Greater Miami area. Established in 2018, the organization has expanded from an initial cohort of 168 elementary students to educating more than 1,100 students across kindergarten through eighth grade. As a member of the KIPP national nonprofit network, which boasts a 25-year history of preparing students for college and life success, KIPP Miami focuses on delivering rigorous academic programs to elementary, middle, and high school learners within its community.
The school system provides distinct educational pathways through two primary campuses. KIPP Royalty Academy serves students in grades K-4, while KIPP Courage Academy supports middle school students in grades 5-8. This structure ensures continuous academic development for youth in the region.
To enhance educational opportunities, KIPP Miami collaborates with several local organizations, including Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Miami Dade College, Girls Inc., Black Men Build, the Urban League's We Rise Liberty City Initiative, the Miami Marlins Foundation, and Bridge to Hope. These partnerships aim to provide additional resources and support options to the community. Further information regarding programs and enrollment is available at www.kippmiami.org.
