About the Role

This position is located on Roi-Namur, Kwajalein Atoll, in the Marshall Islands. As an electrical technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining all types of electrical equipment at the range facilities. Your work will involve specialized control systems, motor generators, servo systems, digital encoders, uninterruptable power supply (UPS) systems, electrical distribution panels, transformers, and large switching equipment connected to high voltage feeders from on-island power generating stations.

You will troubleshoot electrical circuits in both office settings and industrial sites, performing installation, removal, and repair of switchgear, transformers, starters, controllers, capacitors, and production equipment power and control systems. The role requires inspecting, testing, and diagnosing issues with electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning. You will also inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and participate in a 24/7 on-call schedule to respond to outages and other events.
