As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be the backbone of our operational reliability, performing critical maintenance and repairs on mine-related equipment. This role is essential for keeping our operations running smoothly and safely. You will engage in troubleshooting, electrical construction, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
This position is dynamic and requires adaptability. You will work rotating shifts tailored to operational needs and may be assigned to various mine maintenance work groups. Success in this role demands a strong work ethic, the ability to perform with minimal supervision, and excellent interpersonal skills to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess 1 to 2 years of formal electrical training, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate a commitment to our core values daily.
While MSHA certification for low, medium, and high voltage is preferred, candidates who can obtain the required certification within one year of acceptance are encouraged to apply. Experience with control systems, AC/DC power distribution, PLCs, and heavy haulage equipment such as shovels and draglines is highly valued.
