About the Role
Quad Sussex, WI is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and operation of facility building systems and infrastructure. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and reliable work environment by maintaining critical HVAC, plumbing, utilities, and general building systems.
While general maintenance experience is the primary requirement, candidates with HVAC or electrical experience are encouraged to apply as a plus. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a strong team culture with a supportive work environment.
Schedule & Relocation
This role operates on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule: 3 days one week, followed by 4 days the next, with the day of the week rotating every 4 months. Paid relocation may be available for highly qualified candidates located more than 100 miles from the plant.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist with maintenance of motors, compressors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment
- check_circlePerform basic fabrication, repairs, and adjustments on facility components
- check_circleComplete general building repairs such as plumbing fixtures, painting, and ceiling tile replacement
- check_circlePerform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and utility systems
- check_circleMaintain heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment to ensure safe operations
- check_circleRepair doors, dock equipment, and perform minor structural fixes like roof leak patching
- check_circleExecute maintenance tasks based on schedules, service requests, and team priorities
- check_circleSupport upkeep of refrigeration units including coolers and air dryers
- check_circleFollow safety policies and maintain clean, organized work areas
- check_circleMonitor and treat water systems to maintain proper functionality
- check_circleConduct grounds maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal operations
Requirements
