Quad Sussex, WI is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and operation of facility building systems and infrastructure. This role is essential for maintaining a safe and reliable work environment by ensuring the continuous function of HVAC, plumbing, utilities, and general building systems.
The position offers a dynamic day-to-day experience where you will perform routine maintenance and repairs across diverse building systems. You will assist with heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, support the upkeep of refrigeration equipment like coolers and air dryers, and monitor water systems. Your responsibilities extend to general facility repairs, including plumbing fixtures, minor wall work, and roof leak patching, as well as maintaining doors and dock equipment.
You will also provide equipment and mechanical support by assisting with motors, compressors, and pumps, performing basic fabrication and adjustments as needed. The role includes grounds and seasonal work, such as basic landscaping and snow removal, requiring the operation of specific equipment. Throughout your shift, you will follow safety policies, keep work areas organized, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address service requests and team priorities.
This position operates on a 12-hour shift schedule, alternating between 3 days one week and 4 days the next, with rotating days every 4 months. Paid relocation may be available for highly qualified candidates located 100+ miles from the plant.

Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or building systems. Basic electrical knowledge (motors, controls, or troubleshooting). Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Technical training or certifications in maintenance-related fields. Valid driver's license (for snow removal equipment operation).
