A global packaging manufacturing leader near Richmond, VA, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to anchor plant reliability and automation across a high-speed production facility. This role places you at the center of uptime, performance, and continuous improvement, working hands-on with the critical systems that keep operations running.

In this role, you will provide hands-on electrical engineering support to daily plant operations. Your focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical and automation issues that affect uptime and performance. You will support and optimize PLCs, motor control centers, drives, instrumentation, DCS platforms, and industrial networks.
You will also participate in predictive and preventive maintenance programs, including condition monitoring and reliability initiatives. Contributing to capital projects, equipment upgrades, and automation improvements across the facility will be a key part of your workflow. Additionally, you will collaborate with OEMs, vendors, and contractors on installations, commissioning, and technical problem-solving while maintaining essential electrical documentation.
