About the Team

Advanced Laser Systems Technology (ALST), located in Orlando, Florida, is a division of Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions (IMS), headquartered in Londonderry, NH. As an established leader in electro-optical laser systems for military defense applications, ALST is world-renowned for its expertise in laser range finders and laser designators. Our employees are unified by a shared dedication to our customers' missions and a quest for professional growth.

We pride ourselves on being trailblazers in designing and developing highly engineered, innovative solutions. Our team consists of talented and diverse professionals working in an environment that offers alternative work schedules and the opportunity to collaborate on cutting-edge technology.

About the Role

As the Lead Electrical Engineer – CCA and Analog Circuit Design, you will ensure the technical integrity, quality, and on-time delivery of our assigned product portfolio. This role is pivotal in leading the development of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and the design of analog and power supply circuits for complex system and subsystem architectures.

You will analyze designs to ensure they meet rigorous customer specifications, generate block diagrams, and select components for the electronics associated with advanced laser systems. A key focus of this position is leveraging state-of-the-art components and layout technologies to design new CCAs and analog power supply circuits that minimize power consumption and thermal emissions. You will support the full product lifecycle, from development and verification to transitioning designs into manufacturing, working closely with design engineers and production technicians.

Hiring Process

Due to the nature of our government contracts, all candidates must be U.S. Citizens and possess the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. The selection process will evaluate your technical expertise, project management capabilities, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small-team environment.

Equal Opportunity

ALST is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We value the unique perspectives and experiences that our employees bring to the table.
