About the Role
This Electrical Engineer position is designed to support the design, development, and debugging of motherboards, custom compute boards, and backplanes. The role bridges the gap between initial design concepts and manufacturing reality. You will be responsible for programming, debugging, and bench testing newly developed printed circuit boards, ensuring they meet rigorous performance standards.
In this position, you will actively participate in design reviews and assist with initial design efforts. A key part of your day will involve collaborating with senior team members, mechanical engineers, software engineers, and test engineers to ensure seamless integration of designs. You will also serve as a technical liaison, communicating with supplier representatives and field application engineers to resolve electrical design issues and support the manufacturing team during the NPI (New Product Introduction) phase.

Requirements
- verifiedBSEE or equivalent
- verified5-8 years of experience in electrical design or related field
- verifiedAbility to read and create schematics, bill of materials, PCB layout and manufacturing drawings
- verifiedStrong ability to solder surface mount components
- verifiedFamiliarity with hardware and software programming tools
- verifiedStrong knowledge of Microsoft office products and collaboration software
Nice to Have
Knowledge of DDR, PCIe, UPI, USB, and other high-speed interconnects, as well as Intel architectures. Experience organizing test data and tracking trends. Ability to plan for manufacturability and testing during early phases and implement them through production. Skills in designing and assembling connectors, cabling, and test fixtures. Knowledge and consistent implementation of ESD safety techniques. Familiarity with Linux-based applications and computer systems. Ability to create scripts using Python, bash, TCL, and other languages.
