Electrical Components Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Component Engineer to support a large, high-tech client. In this position, you will play a critical role in second-sourcing electrical components for data center equipment. Your work will ensure continuity of supply, mitigate risk, and maintain product availability for our clients.

You will act as a bridge between design and supply chain, analyzing PCB Assembly BOMs to identify single-source components and finding viable alternatives. This involves reading component specifications, performing Form Fit & Functional Compatibility analysis, and coordinating with design engineers to manage the end-to-end qualification of new sources. Additionally, you will work closely with the PLM team to handle new part creations and AML updates within Agile PLM systems.
