The Effector Sub-System Products (ESP) department is responsible for all aspects of subsystem design, test, and production. Within this department, the Power Electronics & Controls (PE&C) team engineers complex power systems, analog design, linear control systems, and motor control systems. The section is responsible for power design including power conversion, DC/DC and AC/DC converters, gimbal and solenoid controls, HV converters, small signal analog circuits, initiator circuits, sensing and monitoring circuits, flight termination, and support for telemetry systems.

A successful candidate is one who can participate in a multi-disciplined team, properly apply engineering tools and processes, and effectively communicate with others. You will be expected to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, working under general supervision.

The role requires frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, concepts, and techniques. While this is an onsite role in Huntsville, AL, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at our office locations to maintain a secure hiring process.
